The low-lying residence is a stony outcropping absorbed into the riverside becoming a feature within the landscape rather than the focal point. The interior becomes its own topography that peers onto the forest’s edge.

Guggenheim, Helsinki

The expansive stone facade reflects Helsinki’s history paying homage to the Suomenlinna, the sea fortress, and the museum’s galleries capture Finland’s growing culture, craftsmanship, and modern art scene.

Daegu Gosan Public Library

Using the techniques from ancient book production, the structure of the library folds over at a central spine to create verticality. Expansive grounds provides room for the community to enjoy nature.

MAC - Museo de Arte Contemporaneo

Three volumes rest on a plinth, one for each way the home-owner shares their residence with friends and family. The center is an art gallery, the right is for entertaining guests, the left is a number of suites.

Strength in Numbers Pavilion

Utilizing one of the most prevalent garbage littering the island, plastic bags and fishing line, a community venue is created. The semi-transparent structure allows the enclosure to feel open as sunlight dapples the interior.

Interconnection Data Facility Façade & Offices

While maintaining much of the original structure, we created a twin-walled facade system. The shades block sun while the greenery absorbs it, helping maintain the building’s interior temperature key for maintaining servers properly.
